This article demonstrates how to save an Apple Pages file (.pages) as a Microsoft Word document (.docx).
Saving a Pages file as a Word document
- Create or open a Pages document.
- Choose “File" > "Export to” and select “Word” from the list.
- Click “Next...”
- Save the file to your computer.
- The file will be saved as a Word document (.docx) on your computer.
Note: If you do not have Microsoft Word installed on your machine, you will not be able to open this document. If you need to make changes to the document, return to the original Pages document, make the necessary changes, and then export the file again.
